I studied Translation and Interpretation before moving into design โ which is probably why I still treat every product like a language someone has to learn quickly. Translating between two spoken languages and translating complex technical logic into a human interface aren't so different: both require understanding who's on the receiving end before you choose your words.
Eight years later, I'm still doing that โ across cloud platforms, data tools, food-tech, and F&B operations apps.
"When I have free time, I often come up with ideas for 'if I'm unemployed in the future' and explore niche hobbies. I am a mother to a little son, a continuous runner against the waves of change, and a designer who trusts data over assumptions."
I assume my first read of a problem is incomplete. Before committing to a direction, I look at it from the user's, the business's, and the engineer's seat.
I enjoy researching how people actually behave, not how we assume they behave. When a decision is contested, I look for evidence before I look for consensus.
A good screen on a broken system is a short-term fix. I'd rather spend a week on the sitemap and the design system than a day on a single flow.
I'm careful before I'm fast. I'd rather ask one more question than ship one wrong assumption. But once the ground is solid, I keep moving.
Rebuilt fragmented IaaS/PaaS/SaaS platform into a coherent system. Designed and shipped the product's first mobile app. Won FPT Corporation Hackathon. Built the design system for Data Suite from the ground up.
Researched and designed cross-market order flows for the Pizza Hut Master App across Asian markets. Led UX for a people-first, data-driven digital product team.
Designed key operational apps for the Pizza Hut chain: POS, KDS, Dine-In, and Driver App. Supported clients case by case in a fast-moving outsource environment.
The foundation that taught me to see every communication problem from both sides โ the sender's intent and the receiver's understanding.
If you're building something that needs someone careful with the details and curious about the data โ I'd like to hear about it.
